L'Italia è una stupenda nazione, ricca di maestose montagne e belle colline, placidi laghi, idilliache isole, bel mare, splendide città e meravigliosi villaggi murati. Nessun Paese al mondo può vantare i tesori di cultura e di arte dell'Italia.
L'arte e i monumenti si trovano da ogni parte nella nazione.
Secondo l'UNESCO, l'Italia è un vero museo all'aria aperta, essa contiene quasi i due terzi (60%) dei monumenti storici e dei capolavori dell'arte del mondo intero. La Toscana, che è solo una regione dell'Italia, da sola possiede più tesori artistici dell'intera Spagna, che è la seconda nazione al mondo per patrimonio culturale. Infatti, l'Italia ha il più grande numero (41) di luoghi dichiarati dall'UNESCO patrimonio mondiale dell'umanità. Roma, Firenze e Venezia sono le tre principali destinazioni turistiche dell'Italia.
Oltre alle bellezze artistiche l'Italia è un paese ricco di bellezze naturali, il 10 per cento del territorio italiano è protetto da Parchi e Riserve naturali. Le sue coste, il mare che bagna su tre lati la penisola italiana, le colline e le montagne sono altre importanti attrazioni turistiche.

Tuscany, which is only one region of Italy, by itself possesses more artistic treasures than the whole of Spain, which is the second country in the world for cultural heritage. In fact, Italy is home to the greatest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites (41) to date.
Rome, Florence and Venice are the top three destinations for tourism in Italy.
Apart the artistic baeuties, Italy is a land rich of natural wonders, 10% of Italian territory is under protection in nature parks and reserves. Its coasts and the sea that whased the Italian peninsula on three sides, the hills and the mountains are others important tourist attractions.
