Italy, in ancient times was the cradle of Etruscan and Roman civilizations, then was the country where developed the Renaissance and the humanism of the arts and thoughts.

Italy is a beautiful nation, which houses a priceless artistic heritage, just think of cities like Rome, Florence and Venice, but the art and monuments can be seen in all twenty regions of Italy, each rich in its artistic, cultural, historical, linguistic and gastronomic elements.

According to some Italy has nearly two thirds (60%) of historic monuments and masterpieces of the world, it is also said that Tuscany, which is only a region of Italy, by itself possesses more artistic treasures of the whole of Spain, which is the second nation in the world for cultural heritage. We do not know if these allegations are true, what is certain is that Italy has the primacy of the "Museum Widespread", every town, village, hamlet, every corner of the Italian territory is rich in history and art like no other nation in the world, art and monuments are everywhere around the country  Italy is a true open-air museum.

Italy has for tourists many attractions from the natural point of view because of its diverse and beautiful landscape, ranging from the beauty of the sea that bordered on three sides the Italian peninsula, its coastline and countless islands, the majestic mountains of the Alps and the sweetest Apennines, the rolling hills shaped over the centuries by man. Ten percent of the Italian territory is protected by parks and nature reserves.

No country in the world can boast of the treasures of culture and art of Italy, which ranks first in number of UNESCO world heritage sites, the italian properties are in fact 44 (not including San Marino (1) and the City Vatican (1)). Rome, Florence and Venice are the three main tourist destinations in Italy.
