Capo Comino is situated along the highway 125 between Posada and Orosei, about midway between the two towns is the junction to Capo Comino, to reach the beach after seven hundred meters, turn left and after another six hundred metres let the car in parking and continue on foot for a few tens of meters. |

Capo Comino is known for the series of bays and beaches, located in front of Ruja Island, immersed in Mediterranean scrub with fine white sand, behind which are the dunes. Going to the Cape itself, the landscape changes, presenting a rocky coast, in the east end is located the Lighthouse of Capo Comino, a building in deplorable state of neglect.
TO SEE IN THE AREA:
Berchida (Siniscola).
Castello della Fava (Posada). Located about 20 km from San Teodoro, is a castle of the 12th-13th century, built by the Giudicato of Gallura, it was occupied by Pisans and then by the Aragonese. Of the castle are still visible just sections of the curtains, a large square tower, which exceeds 20 m. high, and the ruins of the keep. |
