Today we will make the Chicken nuggets recipe, a variation of the classic potato croquettes, which are really very tasty.
We know, chicken usually doesn’t have a great flavor and then tends to remain stringy during cooking, but the Chicken nuggets recipe will do it justice.
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE OF CHICKEN NUGGETS RECIPE:
- 300 g. of chicken breast
- 120 g. Philadelphia-type cream cheese
- 1 clove of garlic
- fresh parsley to taste
- Salt to taste.
- pepper as needed.
- 2 tablespoons of tasty green olives
- breadcrumbs for breading
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- peanut oil to taste to fry
- 2 eggs
First of all, take the chicken and cut it into small pieces, then add it to the food processor together with the garlic, parsley and olives.
Mince, then season with salt, pepper and add the spreadable cheese and milk, mince everything gently and then transfer everything into a bowl.
With your hands wet with oil, take the dough a little at a time, give it the shape of a croquette (elongated oval), if you want you can also stuff them perhaps with diced cooked ham or previously fried potatoes.
Put the croquettes in the fridge to rest for 20 minutes.
After the rest time has elapsed, get ready for cooking; In a separate bowl, beat the eggs together with a pinch of salt and pour the breadcrumbs into a saucer.
Then, proceed, dipping them first in the beaten eggs and then passing them in the breadcrumbs.
In the meantime, pour plenty of oil into a baking dish and when hot, cook the croquettes a little at a time, turning them several times and when cooked, drain them on absorbent paper.
Otherwise if you want to have less caloric croquettes you can, instead of the spreadable cheese, add two boiled potatoes to the dough together with the rest of the ingredients, roll them only in the breadcrumbs and cook them in the oven at 180°C. for 15-20 minutes taking care before brushing the surface with olive oil.
