Lasagna in the oven with ragù is a typical Italian first course to prepare for important lunches like the Christmas.
It is possible prepare the lasagna in the oven with ragù also the day before.
Lasanga consists in egg pasta sheets stuffed with ragù sauce, béchamel and grated cheese.
But, Lasanga can be prepared also only use of vegetables and is very good.
The recipe I propose is prepared in Tuscany and very similar to the emilian one.
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE OF LASAGNA IN THE OVEN WITH RAGU ‘:
- 250 grammi of fresh egg pasta
- 500 gr. of béchamel sauce
- 100 gr. grated cheese.
INGREDIENTS FOR RAGU’ SAUCE:
- 400 grams of minced veal
- 400 grams of minced pork
- 800 grams of peeled tomatoes
- some bay leaves or some rosemary
- 1 beef cube
- 1 glass of red wine
- some salt
- some pepper
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 1 stalk of celery
- some extra virgin olive oil
Preparation of ragù sauce:
Initially, you put in a saucepan the vegetables with some oil and make brown over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Then, add the minced meat and continue to brown well.
Then, you pour the glass of red wine and let it evaporate over medium heat.
When the wine will be evaporated, you can add the tomato.
Then, you season with salt, pepper and the beef cube of crumbled .
Cook over low heat with the lid for 4 hours, in the meantime prepare the béchamel.
PREPARATION OF THE LAYERS OF LASAGNA
Now that the sauce is ready you can proceed to prepare the layers of lasagna.
Therefore, you pour some ragù sauce on the baking sheet and then cover with a first layer of lasagna.
Then, add a layer of meat sauce and some bechamel.
Finish adding on the surface some grated cheese.
Turn on the oven at 180 degrees ventilated.
Now, continue to prepare the various layers until the sheets will be finished.
Bake for abount 20-25 minuts until are colored and crisp.
